THE CITY OF MOORHEAD is taking applications for a
wastewater treatment plant Facility Operator; collecting
samples; performing tests; monitoring and ensuring
regulatory and permit requirements are met; evaluating and
troubleshooting operations and maintenance; preparing and
maintaining plant operation records; participates in a first
response on-call rotation for after-hour alarms or calls.
Any combination of education and experience equivalent to
high school graduation and experience working in a
wastewater treatment facility. Possession of Driver’s
License valid in MN required. Possession of or ability to
obtain a MN Wastewater Treatment Facility Class C Operator
Certificate within 3 years of hire. Wage: $15.96 – $20.76.

City of Wabasha is seeking candidates to fill the
position of Utility Maintenance Worker. Position includes
performing skilled work in the maintenance, repair, and
operations of the city’s sanitary sewer and water systems
including general operation, manual labor, and general
maintenance repairs. Minimum requirements: High School
diploma or GED. A Class D water license and Class D
wastewater license, or ability to obtain both within 6
months. A valid Commercial Drivers license or ability to
obtain within six months. Desirable qualifications: Class C
wastewater operator license and experience with municipal
utilities. Starting salary $17.80/hr plus benefits.

The
City of Kenosha, WI (pop. 95,000+) is accepting

Kenosha Water Utility. Kenosha is ideally located midway
between Chicago and Milwaukee on the shores of beautiful
Lake Michigan. This full-time position is responsible for
the planning and implementation of water utility
construction projects. The incumbent coordinates, reviews
and certifies the work of contractors and consultants to be
in compliance with contractual terms and local, state, and
federal requirements. Requires a Bachelors Degree in
engineering plus 3-5 years of utility engineering design
experience. Position will require a Professional Engineer's
License. 2008 salary range of $61,272 to $75,084 plus
