“I think the biggest thing that I gained is the idea of a client-
centered approach. We are always thinking about how to
best present information that is relevant to the client, what
recommendations make sense for their site, what concerns could
they potentially have. My ultimate hope is that I’ve provided
some value to all stakeholders involved in my project. This
includes the MnTAP wastewater team, any future interns that
may be working on similar projects, the MPCA, and of course
my project sites. And fi nally, I really see myself continuing to
