Congratulations to Natalie Falk - Winner of
MRWA’s 37th Annual Water Week Celebration
Poster Contest! The city of Two Harbors Water &
Wastewater Superintendent Luke Heikkila submitted
the winning entry in the state-wide poster contest
sponsored by Minnesota Rural Water Association.
Natalie is a 4th grade student at Minnehaha
Elementary School in Two Harbors.

The poster contest is an annual event that is
coordinated with other water resource educational
materials. Natalie’s poster was one of several
entries from around the state and was selected
by an anonymous vote of Minnesota Rural Water
Association board and staff this year in lieu of voting
at our technical conference which was postponed
due to COVID-19 concerns.

For her winning entry, Natalie received a $100 cash
gift card, an award certificate, and her poster on the
cover of this Today magazine issue.

Honorable Mentions...

Honorable mention posters include Danica Winn from South Terrace
Elementary in Carlton, MN (shown at far left), and Sophia Blanchard from
Wrenshall School in Wrenshall, MN (shown at left).

Thank you to all of the water and wastewater operations specialists who
submitted posters to MRWA for consideration.
