Wastewater Technical Conference

At Minnesota Rural Water Association, we focus on providing Minnesota’s drinking water and wastewater
sector with the highest quality training and technical assistance – including hosting the largest water and
wastewater conference in Minnesota! In that tradition, we fully intend to move forward with an in-person
Technical Conference in 2021. MRWA’s Board and Staff met this past week to discuss in-person conference
options and we are pleased to announce that we have decided to move our Conference from March to
August 24-26, 2021. This Conference will be a high quality, safe experience where we can all gather, learn,
and network with our peers in a socially safe and conscientious way.
Our members and attendees are part of an essential service sector upon which our entire state depends
for its health and well-being. With that in mind, and the uncertainty of the March pandemic timeframe,
we are looking forward to being able to offer our in-person conference training and vendor exhibition in
August.

Please note: MRWA will host our water and wastewater exam refresher sessions during the week of March
2–4, 2021 in St. Cloud at the Best Western Kelly Inn. Details will be forthcoming in January. MRWA will not
host a separate water and wastewater exam refresher session during our August 24-26 2021 Technical
Conference (our regular fall water and wastewater exam refresher sessions will be held in September
2021).
We look forward to seeing you in person at the 37th Annual Water & Wastewater Technical Conference
during the week of August 24-26, 2021 at the River’s Edge Convention Center in St. Cloud, MN. Please
watch your e-mail and our website at www.mrwa.com for Conference details next spring. 16 water and/or
wastewater (or a combination of both) certification hours will be awarded for full conference attendance.

We will return to our normal March conference schedule in 2022. Thank you for your support of MRWA
and your dedication to your industry in providing safe drinking water during the COVID19 pandemic! Your
dedication doesn’t go unnoticed!

Hotel Room Block Information

Best Western Kelly Inn: All hotel room block reservations have been cancelled for March 2-4, 2021. If
you made a room reservation for our Conference in March, that has been automatically cancelled. You will
need to re-book your reservation for the new dates by calling the Best Western Kelly Inn at 320-253-0606
or at www.bestwestern.com. Use the MN Rural Water Room Block rates.

Courtyard by Marriott: All hotel room block reservations have been cancelled for March 2-4, 2021. If
you made a room reservation for our Conference in March, that has been automatically cancelled. You will
need to re-book your reservation by calling the Courtyard By Marriott at 320-654-1661. Use the MN Rural
Water Room Block rates.

Other hotels: You will need to call and cancel your March reservation and re-book for the new dates at
all other hotels.
