MRWA Winter News
Lori Blair, MRWA Executive Director
The year 2020 is coming to a close and it’s been a challenging year for everyone due to COVID-19.
MRWA’s staff is available to provide on-site assistance and if that’s not an option for your community, give us
a call and we can assist you remotely. We will continue to provide our services to your community as we move
forward. Don’t hesitate to reach out to us and let us assist you!
We are currently in the planning stages of our conference, which was moved from March 2-4, 2021 to August
24-26, 2021 (still being held at the River’s Edge Convention Center in St. Cloud, MN) after careful consideration
by our staff and Board of Directors. We will be posting our Call for Presentation forms in April 2021 and get our
registration forms for attendance out by May.
MRWA will soon be mailing our 2021 Wall Calendar with MRWA’s
training sessions posted to your communities. We plan to start
our in-person one-day training sessions in April 2021 and let’s
hope that our plan to do so is able to be accomplished! If
not, we will continue to provide as many online and webinar
training opportunities as we can.
Thank you for all that you have done for your communities as
essential workers in keeping the water safe to drink and the
wastewater moving along! Your dedication and commitment
to the residents of Minnesota doesn’t go unnoticed! Let’s hope
that 2021 brings a bright future and a resolution for COVID-19!
